Rococo

Since its establishment in 1834, our wholesale business has a rich history and tradition.

It's a story of craftsmanship, dedication, and heritage that has been passed down through the generations. In 1993, Mrs. Magda Boeykens, along with her daughter Mieke, took over the reins of the established store Rococo, with a vision to cherish and spread the beautiful crafts of lacework.

In the summer of 2023, a new generation joined the business, with the arrival of Mieke's daughter, Laura.
This addition marked a new chapter in our story, where we are determined to continue the tradition of lacework while modernizing it.

Just before the outbreak of the global pandemic, we were on the verge of joyfully opening our lace museum. The museum would be a tribute to the rich history and craftsmanship of lacework.
Unfortunately, our plans were disrupted by the circumstances.

Now, as the world slowly recovers, we are ready to put five centuries of lacework from  our private collection back on the map in Bruges.
